narrow escape

I almost got hit by a car this morning.
I was distracted and only looked one side before coming out between two cars, so my fault for that, but the guy was going waaaay too fast, so his fault for that.
The thing is that i almost got hit by a car (in front of the emergecy door of an hospital, how cool is that?) and a woman who was right behing me and saw everything came towards me saying: "oh my god, you scared me! you almost got hit!" To wich i replied with a simple: "yeah, that was close! hehe" and kept on walking like nothing happened.
She probably thought i was crazy, but i was just distracted. And shocked.
The guy had to swerve and probably swore and honked but i didnt notice cause, as i said, i was distracted and kept on walking like nothing happened.

What an amusing incident.
